A Dying Art?

An original work of Jeff Senders, this piece is leaded,  hand beveled, with sand etching. The veins of the leaf are engraved, and the entire piece has an irid sheen.

Jeff Senders, proprietor of Custom Stained Glass, works on a project for one of the sororities in Corvallis. In operation since 1971, Custom Stained Glass is located downtown Albany at 206 W. 2nd.

Calvin Presbyterian Church on Dixon St. in Corvallis has some beautiful glass. This photo was taken at night from the outside, and is one of a set of 2.

Another work of Jeff Senders. The leaded glass in the center is production beveled, giving it an incredible prismatic property. The turquoise pieces are hand fused with green glass.

Residing over the main entrance to the Calvin Presbyterian Church on Dixon St. in Corvallis, this window greets visitors with an incredible golden glow.

Rosa Calabrese, on the left and Jeanette Emerson take their turn during the LBCC Gay Straight Alliance turkey bowl, on Wednesday November 16th  in the courtyard. It cost $1 or 2 cans of food for two tries at knocking the "pins" down. People who got a strike were entered into a prize drawing. Food donations were given to the Thanksgiving Food Drive, sponsored by the Classified Association and the AAWCC, with any cash collected going to donate food to the LB Lunch Box.
This photo was taken during a recent trip to Seattle. Due to an accident, the traffic was moving at about 40 mph, but that is hard to tell from the clarity of this shot.

Photos taken for another class (extra credit)

So far, I am the only one who likes this one. It reminds me of a Monet.

My favorite one.

Enviromental portrait/mug shot

Mrs. Yvonne Miller worked as a high school teacher for over 30 years. Now, she is retired and busier than ever. She relaxes with her quilting, creating art through cloth, and each work of art is a graduation present for someone special.
